Verdict
After back-to-back wins here in March, Real Armani found only too good last month. He was still in the lead jumping the last but has been done no favours by a further 3lb rise. Casimir Du Clos was a winner over 2m here in December and may have needed the run on a return visit in March but he’s never won off a mark this high. Mill Race King may need to settle better than when third over 2m last time to last home but TRUMPS BENEFIT stays further. The latter’s only victory over Rules did come over this trip at Worcester last year, however, and he’s now a pound lower with a recent third at Newcastle likely to have blown away any cobwebs.
