In depth
Verdict
A large field goes to post for this handicap chase and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Gee Aker Malayo High Five and Blue Rising and the narrow vote is given to Gee Aker Malayo. The selection was behind High Five last time out but is weighted to gain his revenge on that rival and under similar conditions here he looks a value bet. High Five is sure to have his supporters but he will need to improve again to win off this higher mark. Blue Rising is well in on his best form but disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Behavingbadly is another that could go well but he would not want any rain while Know The Ropes looks vulnerable under his big weight. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Gee Aker Malayo.
