Verdict
Native Optimist won over course and distance in May but remains 6lb higher. This big step up in trip is certain to suit Jumpandtravel but the handicapper has taken no chances with Micky Hammond's ex-pointer. ALBA KING was third here over fences in June off an 8lb higher mark. He races over hurdles for the first time since February 2013 but his stable is going well and he should have the pace to cope. Another Bygones is steadily stepping up in trip and the maiden has his stamina to prove here.
