Verdict
Peters Star has run to a decent level of form since winning a handicap at Haydock in March but Don McCain's gelding may have to settle for minor honours behind ON RAGLAN ROAD, who gets the vote ahead of Moygashel who looks the main threat. The selection was good value for his win in his only start in a point-to-point and Howard Johnson's gelding created a favourable impression when making a winning rules debut in a bumper at Punchestown in April. Jumping hurdles should pose no problems to the son of Flemensfirth who is hard to oppose. George Moore's Depraux has shown ability but he remains a maiden after 20 career outings on the flat and over hurdles. Dukesfield makes limited appeal on his racecourse debut and of more interest may be James Lambe's lightly raced Moygashel. On Raglan Road has an obvious chance though and is given a confident vote.
