In depth
Verdict
Charlie George, Crofton Arch and Drumossie are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the tentative nomination is given to Charlie George. The selection won well last timeout when beating Norseman Cateline and although having a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Crofton Arch rates the main danger on his latest win over Bob Bites Back. However this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Drumossie is another that could go well on his best form but he is another that now looks in the handicappers grip. Adolphus and Hollows Mist are closely matched on theire latest starts but they look vulnerable to a less exposed type and with this in mind for the winner we return to Charlie George.
