Verdict

ESME SHELBY was caught right on the line when sent off favourite at Chepstow. Due to be raised 4lb after this, Donald McCain’s mare can take advantage in what looks a less competitive race. Grand Enterprise has been thereabouts without looking like winning lately while the veteran Kilcaragh Boy posted one of his better efforts when third at Uttoxeter. Rocco Storm has switched yards having failed to win in Ireland and Sophie Olivia also debuts for new connections having undergone wind surgery.
