Verdict

Another Malcolm Jefferson bumper winner, Ryedale Racer, makes his hurdling debut in this. This will be his third start at the track so he's in familiar surroundings but may not have the experience to cope with PRESENTING JUNIOR. The eight-year-old has never been placed over hurdles previously but has won nine times over fences, including three times here, and rarely runs a bad race nowadays. It Is I was second over a similar trip at Worcester in July while Captain Redbeard and Delusionofgrandeur have both won between the flags.
