Verdict

Achill Road Boy has already seen plenty of action this season. He doesn’t do anything in a hurry but conditions today should play to his strengths and he is a past course winner, though possibly better over fences The Very Thing ended the last campaign with a second at Wetherby but he’s yet to win and CUDGEL (NAP) makes more appeal at the weights. He was a winner over course and distance on heavy ground in December last year and placed over hurdles and fences later. Border Victor was third here in September but beaten a long way and Classical Sound may need this.
