In depth
Verdict
Bestofthebrownies has been knocking on the door and can pay to follow, with Archie Babe, Terlan and Classic Event also worth a mention. Bestofthebrownies will be all the better for his recent return to action when runner-up on his chase debut at Sedgefield, and although that was on faster ground than today's, he has handled testing conditions in the past. With time on his side, the five-year-old is taken to get the better of his mainly older rivals here. Archie Babe is a bit high in the weights at present, but can boast plenty of experience, while Terlan was well held by the winner on his reappearance at Kelso but will learn from that experience over fences. Classic Event is the other youngster in the line-up and is sure to have been well schooled, and Morgan Be has what it takes to make a chaser. Bestofthebrownies is the pick.
