In depth
Verdict
Landmeafortune was making his chasing debut when runner-up at Ayr but was beaten a long way and never raced over this sort of trip over timber. Runswick Days was well supported at Kelso in October despite pulling up on his previous starts and duly obliged but the assessor left his mark with a massive 16lb rise. D'nailor was making his debut over fences when chasing home Remember Forever at Lingfield but that was over 2m4f and he never ran over a trip this far over hurdles. Smuggler's Stash, a winning point-to-pointer, showed his first sign of ability when tackling fences for the first time over this course and distance and may be capable of better in first time blinkers. The veteran Wellforth is inconsistent nowadays but just 4lb higher than his last victory in May while GIBBSTOWN is back on the same mark as when successful here in March and it's the latter who gets the nod in a trappy event.
