In depth

Verdict

Habitual gets the vote here with Maunsell's Road and Green 'n' Gold looking the chief dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating the well handicapped Saucy Night and although he has a penalty for that win he won with plenty in hand and with the jockey taking off a handy seven pounds he will be hard to beat under similar conditions here. Maunsell's's Road rates the main danger on his best form but he has looked vulnerable off this mark in the past and he m,ay need respite from the handicapper before he gets his head in front. Green 'n' Gold is another worthy of respect but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Greenfort Brave is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the progressive Habitual.
