In depth
Verdict
Silver Knight disappointed when long odds-on ay Haydock on his hurdling debut but may be worth another chance. His bumper form was far superior to any of his rivals and he should have come on for that race. He is the TEAMtalk selection. Seasquill is an interesting recruit, having been placed in the South Australia Derby and having also raced in Dubai. He could run a big race and market support would be interesting. Brave Effect has the best hurdles form on show. That came last season and he will have come on for his reappearance run at Kelso recently. Best hurdle form on soft ground belongs to Chopneyev whose debut effort last season earned him an ambitious entry at the Grand National meeting. Out of his depth that day he should find this more to his level. Intersky Native is handled by some shrewd owners and any market support for this gelding will be significant.
