Verdict

Line D'Aois won over course and distance in October on only his second start under Rules but hasn't been seen since. Hail The Brave pulled too hard when only fifth at Ayr last time but has ability and should find a small race before long. Newcomer Focal Point represents a powerful NH yard but their bumper horses often need a run or two. DEVENISH ISLAND looked in need of the run at Ascot in February and ran accordingly. But last year's Carlisle and Towcester winner will strip fitter here and will also be helped by Daragh Bourke's claim - he gets the nod.
