        Verdict

        Not much strength in depth to another weak event in which The Nomad sets the standard after finishing runner-up for today's jockey in his last two starts including a Wetherby handicap last time of a mark of 93. From Little Acorns could not handle testing conditions on his handicap bow at Haydock and showed last time that he is capable of going close in a race of this nature on a quicker surface while Activist has had plenty of opportunities and is proving frustrating at this level.
