In depth

Verdict

Ever So Much won here in September and came right back to form at Cartmel 12 days ago. Dancing Doug was only beaten a short-head on the same card but is now 0-22. David Pipe’s hurdlers boast a terrific strike-rate here and Story Of Friends made an encouraging reappearance at Plumpton while All Hail Caesar has now won a bumper, a hurdle and a chase after his victory here last week. A winner twice last autumn, SUNRISE RUBY gives the impression she will have more to offer over this longer trip this year and she may be capable of repelling Irish raider Gealach.
