Verdict

DONTDELAY won a course and distance handicap on heavy going in December and probably found the going too lively when tackling an extra 3f on a return visit last month. With conditions in his favour and his regular pilot claiming 10lb he should get back to winning ways. Swarez hasn't been showing much in Ireland and The Conn is returning from a very long break so Broadway Belle, a winner here last summer, looks a more likely challenger though she's been in poor form. Turtle Cask was only a head behind the selection in December and has to be considered despite moderate subsequent efforts while Royal Salute has been chasing and may benefit from a return to hurdles.
