        Verdict

        A race where the betting will typically give the best indication to the most likely winner. Richard Fahey's bumper runners are always worth a look and Classical Ben could well be the answer in the getting out stakes. He finished third behind the well-regarded Paddy The Piper at Catterick on his racecourse bow and should have come on for the run. High Places disappointed on his reappearance this term but he showed enough on an earlier appearance to suggest that he could pick up a race or two in the future. If there is any money for George Swinbank's runner it should not be ignored. Esp Hill was a big market drifter on his debut and with conditions likely to be as fast, we will leave him alone on this occasion. Black Stripe Lady started at 50/1 in a hotter contest at Haydock Park and although well behind, she was seen staying on to good effect and is probably capable of better. Chocolate Soldier's recent form in point-to-points is far from anything to write home about. One Five Eight hails from a yard that has had a fair degree of success in Northern bumpers this term and the market should be watched for signs of encouragement.
