It's hard to get away from Little Lu in the opener; Capparoe Cross and Day's Over look the best of the rest of the home team whilst Irish raiders Galiana and Miss Ballygalley must be of interest. The selection looked useful when winning her first two starts in bumpers and was far from disgraced when finishing in midfield in the valuable Aintree bumper in April. She returned a beaten favourite on her hurdling bow but has made no mistake the last twice and is hard to oppose. Galiana is a multiple winner on the level in Germany but has struggled so far over hurdles. She may find this easier than some of the races she's been contesting though and could take a hand in the finish. Capparoe Cross showed a little more when third in a seller at Sedgefield last time but that form is some way short of what will be required to land this contest and a bigger danger may be Day's Over who stepped up on the form of her debut to finish fourth behind Winsley Hill last time. However, Little Lu should take all the beating.
