Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for the first on the card and the principals look to be Taleban, Dante's Brook and Santa Lucia and we will take a chance on Taleban. The eight year old was a good second behind Virgin Solider last time and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Dante's Brook rates the main danger on his latest second behind Duke Of Buckingham but he was well beaten on that ocassion so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Santa Lucia was behind Taleban last time out and there is no reason why he should reverse placings on these terms. Of the remainder Amjad has the ability to win and if he ordained to put his best foot forward he could go well at a big price but we are happy to side with the more reliable Taleban
