Verdict

Didtheyleaveuoutto won at Cartmel in July and was in the process of running another solid race at Kelso when falling. He looks a better bet than stablemate Celestial Horizon, who hasn’t shown any worthwhile form for a long time. Malangen is a Perth specialist but Fabuleux Du Clos has been lightly raced for his age and Shoeshine Boy isn’t short of stamina, though usually needs a run. OUR SAM’s last two wins have come at Cartmel but he also won at Carlisle earlier in the year and today’s conditions won’t be an inconvenience.
