Verdict
CASTLELAWN trounced Pumboo by 10 lengths over course and distance 11 days ago under a positive ride from Peter Buchanan. Honest And True was back in fourth and looks held and Lucinda Russell's charge can follow up off a 10lb higher mark as he's only a six-year-old and open to further improvement. Faster ground is a worry for Uttoxeter winner Le Grand Chene while Wetherby hurdles winner Bunratty was pulled up on his only previous try over fences. Ginger's Lad is edging closer to ending a long losing run but failed to complete on his last visit here in 2011 when Frith was successful, though the placings were reversed at Sedgefield last month.
