In depth

Verdict

This is very competitive for a Class 5. The top three in the weights were all winners last time but aren’t the only ones arriving in form. Mr Harp has gone up 5lb for scoring at Ffos Las while Atomic Angel has won twice on heavy going, including once over course and distance. Just Jess has been going well at Catterick since the turn of the year and Piaff Bubbles was successful in a higher grade last time at Wetherby. However, he was beaten a neck by LEWA HOUSE over 2m4f here earlier and is 6lb worse off with the winner, who looked to be on the way back at Ayr last time. Our Sam returned from a break to win easily at Carlisle with Shoeshine Boy and One Fer Mamma others with decent claims.
