Verdict

PADDY THE HORSE has been far more consistent since having a wind surgery and was to gain an overdue success in a maiden hurdle at the track last month. Half Shot returns to hurdling having won over fences at Sedgefield while Fringill Dike has picked up three races around here this year against novice performers but was a little disappointing on a switch into open handicaps. Bollin Neil obliged in a weak race on the Flat at Musselburgh in June and this is his first run under National Hunt Rules for almost two years. Bonne Vitesse has gone well fresh in the past and is noted closely in the market.
