Verdict
GIPSY LEE ROSE has placed seven times in 13 starts over fences, including the last two. She deserves a change of luck and this won’t take much winning, though Shaka The King will be 2lb higher in future handicaps after his latest second at Ayr. He’s only had seven runs under Rules so far and may still have a bit of scope. First Illusion may make a better chaser than hurdler but has switched stables and Cudgel appears to have gone backwards.
