Verdict

Bescot Springs was only beaten a head over 3m1f here in November and again shaped with promise on his comeback at Perth when third to the progressive Peachey Moment. Lucinda Russell's charge is the obvious one here but we are taking a chance that WORTH A KING'S will have learned enough from his debut over the larger obstacles to resume winning ways here. Donald McCain's five-year-old has won three times over hurdles and usually competes at a higher level than this. Wor Rom is another winning hurdler with claims on only his second start over fences.
