In depth

Verdict

Though Brian Hughes rides Cathal's Star, Jamie Hamilton’s mount KICK ON DOTTIE looks Ruth Jefferson’s first choice having defied a huge starting price to get off the mark over 2m here last month. She wasn’t stopping that day so should handle the step up in trip and a penalty. Perth fifth Macardle will almost certainly enjoy the extra half-mile and a switch to hurdles can bring about improvement in Slade Storm. Timesawaiting and Friends In Heaven may be the pick of the remainder.
