Verdict

Clondaw Hero's recent form figures don't inspire confidence and it's anyone's guess which version of the McCain novice turns up. The application of first-time blinkers is no surprise and it will be fascinating to witness their effect. Harrys Whim and Merry Minster are limited so IMJOEKING is the choice, especially in receipt of 7lb from the penalised McCain inmate. He hasn't been as impressive in four starts over fences as was anticipated but Lucinda Russell has given him a good rest and hopefully he'll come back a stronger horse and start to realise his potential.
