Verdict

It was no surprise to see Orioninverness pop up at Newcastle last week. He should again beat second Mcginty's Dream but has more to do under a penalty. Purple Harry showed a welcome return to form on the same card and Gibbstown often runs well around here, though doesn’t win very often. Flemerina has claims back over fences but BEAU SANCY would have caught Always Tipsy at Kelso a week ago had a begun his run a little earlier and is ready for a step up to 3m on that evidence. Major Ridge wasn’t disgraced at Sedgefield recently but is hard to catch right.
