Verdict

Pay The King usually attracts market support but his record over fences has been hit and miss so far. This, however, looks less competitive than recent races so he goes on the short-list. Nortonthorpelegend ran poorly when favourite at Carlisle earlier this month and finished behind Heart O Annandale, who was then second at Perth. MAZ MAJECC just lasted home over course and distance earlier this month but a 4lb rise is not excessive and he'll probably run his race again.
