GROVE ROAD landed a Sedgefield bumper then returned after a long break to make a successful hurdling debut over 2m4f on heavy ground at Carlisle. He proved his stamina when scoring over 3m1f at Hereford in December and should complete a four-timer. Well Dick, a winning point-to-pointer, landed a maiden hurdle on soft ground at Uttoxeter before beaten a long way on slightly quicker going at Chepstow.
