    Verdict

COTILLION (NAP) has a superb career strike-rate and is adaptable as to trip and going. He won a handicap on heavy going on the Flat at Hamilton last week and four of his five starts over hurdles last season, one a Class 3 at Market Rasen. With Toby Wheeler taking off 7lb, Ian Williams' 10-year-old should be too good for these. Ben Cee Pee M might appreciate this drop in grade and could be the one for forecast-backers, though Magnolia Ridge did win here earlier in the year. Mr Mulliner, successful at Downpatrick in June, is the pick of Mark McNiff's two runners and also preferred to Smadynium.
