In depth

Verdict

Orioninverness was only beaten a head over course and distance a couple of weeks ago and is only 2lb higher with Stephen Mulqueen claiming 3lb. Casimir Du Clos won over 2m here in December and is arguably even more effective over this longer trip but the lack of a recent run and the concession of 16lb to MAASAI WARRIOR may count against him. Paul Henderson’s charge has a penalty for his victory at Chepstow 10 days ago but appears to be over the injury problems that have dogged his chase career to date.
