Pipers Legend looks dangerously well handicapped on the pick of his form and R'Cam from Emma Lavelle's yard looks an interesting contender on just his second start of the current campaign but we instead side with ROUSSEA, who is from a yard in a bit of form. That stable is that of Michael Scudamore, who enjoyed a good October, and with this gelding on his preferred ground over a stamina test he enjoys he should go well off a rating still below that of his highest winning mark. Pipers Legend has been falling down the weights while putting in some solid runs and was challenging before he fell two out last time. If recovered from that he is weighted to be in the mix here. R'Cam ran an encouraging seasonal re-appearance on his latest effort and with another two pounds removed from his back he should go closer in this contest while Sarobar also has to be taken into consideration racing off his last winning rating. This looks very competitive but Roussea looks marginally the best treated.
