In depth

Verdict

Anomaly was just denied a second win over timber when beaten a short-head at Market Rasen in September. North Hill Harvey won a point-to-point by 15 lengths in April and could be useful while Allee Bleue had decent form on the level in France in 2013. But all eyes here will be on BARTERS HILL (NAP) as Ben Pauling's very smart bumper winner makes his hurdling debut. His defeat of Bellshill at Aintree in April was franked when the runner-up landed the Champion Bumper at Punchestown later and he could be a top-class recruit.
