Those with experience in this are a modest bunch. Gee Hi has won between the flags and in a bumper but was beaten more than 20 lengths on his hurdling debut at Bangor. Rockchasebullet didn't run badly over 2m4f at Doncaster but the drop in distance is a worry while Oyster Shell finished behind Celtic Abbey in Ptit Zig's race at Ludlow last month. LOOKING ON won a Sandown handicap over 1m2f in September and was a reliable sort on the Flat. This sharp track shouldn't overtax his stamina and, with his new stable in red-hot form, he may just be good enough to make a winning debut over obstacles.
