Verdict

Eragon De Chanay is a bit of an enigma but is more than capable if in the mood and appeals as the type to go well fresh. Joly Maker usually runs his race but Jonjo O’Neill Jr prefers Pens Man and Fairway Freddy is beginning to show signs of temperament. This looks a stiff task for Vinnie The Hoddie under top weight while Yccs Portocervo has a bit to prove at present. A MERE BAGATELLE still has plenty of scope over fences and is receiving 15lb from June’s course and winner Gloire D'athon so gets the nod.
