Verdict
Mersey Street has his first run for Jonjo O’Neill having finished second in a point last spring. Roger Pol won at Worcester in the autumn and placed at Ffos Las in January. Ledders won at Lingfield in December following a fair fourth at Ascot but TARAS HALLS won a shade cosily here on debut and may be the most likely to defy a penalty. Any market support for Mount Ferns should be noted given he’s a half-brother to City Chief, one of the ante-post favourites for the National Hunt Chase later this month
