In depth

Verdict

Five Rivers had just been headed when falling two out over a half-mile shorter at Kempton last time. It's not certain he'll appreciate this longer trip but Maringo Bay stays well and should be thereabouts again having finished second for the fourth time in seven starts over fences at Lingfield last time. He's a couple of pounds better off with winner Sunny Ledgend. Shuil Royale has ability but is a tricky ride and Arbeo is more interesting as he's only 6lb higher than when landing a decent contest at Newbury in December. UNO D'ESTRUVAL won a minor contest in the French provinces last year and will be all the better for his third at Leicester, his first start for new connections. He may be some value at the likely odds.
