        Verdict

        Very First Time has a decent chance in this if wind surgery has proved successful but preference is for ONE FORTY SEVEN, who has the more recent form and is now only a pound higher than when landing a similar contest at Southwell last summer. Quest For Life has won over fences but his victories this year have come in a hurdle and a jumpers’ bumper. Rock On Rocco was hampered when a beaten favourite over fences at Kempton in October but was very disappointing around here subsequently. Dublin Four should go well back over his best trip, however, and Cave Top didn't handle soft going at Fontwell in December.
