Verdict
Apasionado showed potential in bumpers when trained in Ireland and won one for new connections at Market Rasen before a facile victory on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter. He'll take some beating, despite a penalty, but this is a much sharper track and suits former Flat racers. CAPTAIN FELIX won three races on the level and made a very encouraging start over timber behind the impressive Al Reesha at Fakenham. He can go one better though that winner is trained by Dan Skelton, who has Atlantic Storm engaged here - he's expected to much better this season after just one run at Sligo in May. Magic Bullet showed plenty of promise in three starts in bumpers while River Frost won on the Flat in France and Alan King will get the best from him. Winning point-to-pointer Lisheen Prince looks more of a staying type.
