In depth

Verdict

Hidden Depths is penalised for last week’s win at Sedgefield and this looks a bit more competitive. Friary Rock has become expensive to follow but Chess Player bolted up at Stratford at the end of August and won here in May. LINE OF DESCENT is starting to slip down the weights again and could go close in a race like this if he can cut out the errors. Magistrato seems to have lost his confidence while Whodini is also best watched at present and Tommy Cullen has an absence to overcome.
