Etamine Du Cochet stopped as if shot over 2m5f at Ludlow so it’s a surprise that Dan Skelton is persisting with her over this longer trip. She won’t be much of a price and POPERINGHE GINGER, who showed promise in bumpers despite failing to win, may offer more value as she should enjoy the switch to hurdling and a further step up in trip. Jillythejet has won a point but was never really on the bridle when a beaten favourite on her hurdles bow and will need to improve on that. I'm A Believer was a modest maiden on the Flat and the market will be the best guide to her chances.
