Verdict

Violets Boy hinted at ability on his racecourse debut at Towcester in May, while Cydonia was third on his second start at Southwell in April. But Jonjo O'Neill may have found a decent opportunity for winning pointer DRAMATIC DUKE to make a winning start under Rules. He's closely related to smart Irish jumpers In Compliance and One Cool Cookie and McCoy has stayed back to take the ride. The others with experience look modest but Lucy Wadham's newcomer Never Be Cross could be interesting, though will probably need further in time.
