In depth

Verdict

FINAWN BAWN easily won an Ayr bumper in May and a novices' hurdle at Bangor in December. He ran a fine race in a Grade 2 at Warwick in January and will take all the beating here. Kingofthecotswolds is making good progress and there was plenty to like about his Ludlow maiden victory though like Ah Well, who made a very encouraging racecourse debut at Doncaster, he'll need to find more to upset the selection. Winning point-to-pointer Speedy Buck should do better when tackling further.
