Verdict
No Turning Back need not be anything special to go in first time and gets a tentative vote over The Holy Bee, Westcraft and Eaton Hall to name but three. None of those that have already turned out appear to be anything exceptional and it would be no surprise if the Noel Chance-trained No Turning Back made a winning start. By Shernazar out of Offaly Rose, a daughter of The Parson, he would appear to have a bright future if breeding counts for anything, and any money in the ring would only add to our confidence. The Holy Bee finished sixth here on his debut in December and can improve, while Westcraft belied his big starting price when second at Lingfield, with Sonic Sound behind. Padre and Round The Horn both hail from stables that can get them ready to win in this sphere as well, so it all adds up to an interesting finale, and one in which we suggest a small wager on No Turning Back.
