In depth

Verdict

Our Power beat a subsequent winner at Wincanton last month but his jumping left a little to be desired and he fell at the first at Doncaster on Tuesday. BARBADOS BLUE was no match for The Glancing Queen at Warwick last month and a beaten favourite here before that but she has taken quite well to fences and could make a winning start in handicaps with Mahler's Promise beaten twice at Sandown off this mark at the end of last year. Dorking Lad has been beaten off lower marks the last twice and is hard to catch right.
