Verdict

CEE CEE RIDER is selected to put behind a disappointing effort at Market Rasen last time. Alan King's mare proved herself a progressive sort throughout the summer months, culminating in a victory at Uttoxeter in July. A bad mistake put paid to her chances last time and provided her jumping holds up, she looks the one to beat. Act Gold and Markington could prove to be the biggest dangers to Cee Cee Rider. Act Gold returns here after a summer break which preceded a career best effort at Aintree in May. If fit he looks a contender off his low weight while Markington was not suited by heavy ground on his last flat start but was the winner of a similar event to this on his penultimate start. Well Saved is rather inconsistent while What Luck, a half-brother to Catch The Perk should be all the better for a recent pipeopener. Cee Cee Rider is nominated to win the opener.
