In depth

Verdict

Despite carrying a penalty for winning at Stratford, Tender Surprise is still on a decent mark but Osgood surely has too much weight now. Ted Dolly is on a long losing run but has won off a higher mark in the past, though was behind fourth Tiradia in Kayfton Pete's race at Worcester last month. Curragh Hall represents a yard in cracking form and arrives off the back of a win at Ludlow while Minella Hero doesn't look overburdened on his handicap debut, though would only have finished second at Southwell had the clear leader not fallen two out. It's interesting to see the three-year-old Mercoeur in a handicap after just one run in this country but we fancy CUSHEEN BRIDGE to keep his winning run going at the track. He'll handle the ground and his defeat of Marju's Quest here in August has worked out well.
