In depth
Verdict
Another wide open event with the selection being Caroline Bailey's Persian Hero who has won his last two starts in impressive style and this 10 year old can carry on the good work here. Dangers abound, chiefly in the shape of Hot Toddy ridden by amateur Mr Richard Burton. He has been winning and placed in recent point-to points and the 11 year old certainly has to be considered as a major player here. Four Options has been in flying form this season in point-to-points,but tackles regulation fences for the first time today. He could go well. Robber ran a very good third at Hexham earlier in May and could take a hand also here. But the selection is Persain Hero to carry on in grand form.
