Verdict
Viable runs his best races around here but it's a long time since he troubled the judge. Deputy Dog makes a swift reappearance after finishing down the field at Warwick on Wednesday but will have to do a lot better if he is to shed his maiden tag, while Kirkhammerton has failed to take advantage of a tumbling handicap mark lately. Mayolynn is interesting, however, on her first start over fences. She doesn't look badly treated on her hurdling form. But we just prefer SUM LAFF, who clearly didn't give his true running when pulled up in heavy ground at Fontwell earlier this month. Still unexposed, he's worth another chance in this grade.
